Cloud9 eliminate EnVyUs with a 2-1 win (16-9 Cache, 10-16 Mirage, 16-10 Dust2) and go on to the grand final of DreamHack Zowie Open Bucharest 2016.
Cache was the map to start off the first semi-final match of the day, with Envy getting the start on the CT side of their map pick.
The Frenchmen started off with a clean A-site retake on the pistol round, but it was all Cloud9 when the rifles came into play. With fast and explosive plays the North American team was able to get to a 7-2 lead before their default-to-A round was read and stopped by Happy and co.
A few rounds were traded back and forth but it hurt Envy more in the end, as Cloud9 had money for repeated buys while their opposition was forced to eco.
To close out the half it was Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham to clutch a 2v3 on the A site to give Cloud9 an impressive 11-4 lead at the halftime.

Jake "Stewie2K" Yip opened up the pistol round with an aggressive A-main peek and allowed Cloud9 to get up to 13-4 before the aggression was punished by an HE grenade stack, with Envy starting to string together rounds on the back of that.
It was 13-9 before another aggressive play by Stewie2K, this time in squeaky, yielded an early advantage that was converted into a round win for Cloud9 - helping them to close out the map 16-9.
Cloud9 had a dream start on their map pick, Mirage, winning the CT pistol round and countering Envy's first gun round with more aggression, this time on mid.
The Frenchmen were down 0-7 before Dan "apEX" Madesclaire started rolling once again, getting key kills around the map - including an ace and 1v2 clutch to take the third round for his team.
The round proved to be crucial, though, as Envy managed to string five rounds from there to make it 7-8 in the first half.
apEX was a key player in EnVyUs' Mirage win
Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt's took the momentum into the second half, winning the first five rounds on their CT side despite two anti-eco scares that demanded Timothée "DEVIL" Démolon to clutch out a 1v3 and a 1v2 on the B site.
Still with zero Terrorists rounds and down 14-8, Cloud9 had a 5v2 advantage while entering the A site, but it was DEVIL once again to stop them - appearing from a smoke and killing three Cloud9 players in quick succession, granting Kenny "kennyS" Schrub the opportunity to close out the round that put them on match point.
The North Americans tried to put up a fight, but Envy closed it out shortly with a 16-10 scoreline, pushing the match to the third map - Dust2.
The French team had a good start to the map as CT, with kennyS hitting some iconic AWP shots from A to pit to put his team up 7-0 at the start of the match. But it was Mirage in reverse as Cloud9 managed to get back on track after a pause - ending the half trailing only one round.
NBK- opened the B site with a Deagle headshot on their Terrorist pistol round, but it was Cloud9 to take the round and continue their charge towards the grand final, getting to a 12-8 lead before Envy got a round on the board with a A site execute.
Unfortunately for Envy, it was n0thing to step up in the next round to single-handedly stop the B-split and reset economy of the French team, picking up four kills in the process and putting his team in the driver's seat to close out the match 16-10
